Revolution Communications is an all-female communications agency, operating in the motorsport, lifestyle and entertainment sectors. Combining decades of experience in PR and social with outgoing and passionate personalities, we have been able to build up a portfolio of exciting clients; from the Williams Racing Formula 1 team to Top Gear and many more. As a close-knit team of women, we are proud to hold a place in often male-dominated industries, whilst also nurturing the PR and communications aces of the future.

We are absolutely delighted to have been shortlisted for Best Content Series at the UK Content Awards for ‘The Switch’, our YouTube mini-series created for the Mahindra Racing Formula E team. Formula E is a pioneering global all-electric street racing series, and we have worked closely with founding team Mahindra Racing for a number of years.

At Revolution Communications we are proud to produce creative and entertaining content that falls outside of the box expected from motorsport teams. Using our links to the entertainment industry, we put together the video series that saw Mahindra Racing’s two drivers Alex Lynn and Alexander Sims undertake a job-swap with professional dancers Karen Hauer and Katie Priest.

The four protagonists were tested on their fitness, driving and dancing ability during the four-part series, producing many funny and entertaining moments. The YouTube episodes were supported by bespoke social media content such as Reels, teaser clips and professional imagery. Released an episode a week for a month, the series was watched by 17.7 million people in total, as well as thousands upon thousands more engaging with and talking about the content on social media.

We were extremely excited about entering The Switch mini-series for a UK Content Award as we felt it was an extremely unique and creative piece of content. Finding out we had been shortlisted for Best Content Series was a brilliant moment, and one which we were honoured to share with everyone who contributed to the series.

We look forward to seeing you all at the awards night in July when we celebrate the very best within the world of agencies. Good luck to all the shortlisted companies!
