We are Extramile Digital, specialist all-in-one B2B Digital Marketing Agency.

Since our inception in 2000, our growth as a business has been shaped by our core principles.

Credibility, Collaboration and Creativity.

No matter the size, or niche of our clients, we strive to deliver tangible results through strategy led marketing and the employment of innovative digital solutions.

As a business, we are delighted to see our dedication and hard work recognised by the UK Content Awards, becoming finalists for our work with Running Imp, a leading mass participation events supplier.

A Prospering Partnership

Working alongside Running Imp since 2020, we have gained a thorough understanding of their business, their goals and crucially, their audience.

Alongside their sister company Bespoke Medals, Running Imp are a leading supplier of high-quality medals, trophies and awards for mass participation sporting events, providing their products and services to world renowned marathons and local fun runs alike.

Once Running Imp began working with us to enhance their digital performance through SEO, it was apparent from day one that their key USP was the ultra-customisable nature of their products, which has underpinned our strategy throughout their time with us.

Building on Previous Success

Before the late Queen’s Jubilee in 2022, Running Imp approached us to devise a creative SEO content campaign in order to drive organic traffic to their Jubilee themed product range.

As successful as this campaign was, it would eventually serve as a benchmark and foundation for the King’s Coronation campaign of 2023, providing us with even deeper insight into which content and products Running Imp’s audience was most engaged with.

It was then, through strategic refinement and precision targeting that we were able to deliver some truly remarkable results and build on previous the Jubilee success with the King’s Coronation campaign.

The Brief

Running Imp had a clear objective, they wanted to build awareness and drive traffic to their new ‘King’s Coronation’ product range and demonstrate clear differentiation between them and their competitors.

Following an initial campaign kick off and strategy meeting with key stakeholders, we got right to work, creating a new ‘Coronation 2023’ category on the Running Imp website which would give users the ability to find everything coronation related in one place.

This also provided us with an area to build written website content to support visibility, keyword rankings and display to users that Running Imp had everything they could need to host memorable Coronation events.

Strategy and Execution

Using detailed keyword research, competitor analysis and utilising our existing understanding of Running Imp as a business, we were able to craft an SEO optimised content plan that spoke directly to their target audience, understanding their challenges and providing creative, helpful articles on organising successful coronation events and of course, promoting Running Imp’s products and services.

For us, the beauty of this campaign was in its relative simplicity, using a data driven approach, and the strategic implementation of creative content, we were able to have a huge impact on Running Imp’s online visibility, driving high quality traffic, dramatically increasing conversions and ultimately exceeding revenue targets for our client.

Tristan Veasey, Junior Digital Marketing Account Manager, Extramile Digital:

Having worked closely with Running Imp for the past 2 years, I am absolutely delighted to see that our efforts as a team have led to such successful results for our client. The Coronation campaign was a joy to be involved in, not only because of the significance of the event itself, but also because of the trust and creative licence we were given. I’m incredibly proud of the work we have done for this amazing campaign and extremely pleased to see it recognised by the UK Content Awards.

Jene Knight, Head of Digital, Extramile Digital:

I’m incredibly proud of the teamwork that went into this campaign. My team here at Extramile fully understand the importance of strategic led campaigns and the success of this Coronation campaign for Running Imp, we’re all proud to have seen our work lead to impressive financial benefits for our client.
